This incredible talent has garnered critical acclaim in a number of diverse projects. The first release from the Jeff Robinson Trio, Getting Fixed, was featured in every major jazz publication in the country and sat atop jazz playlists for months. His one man play Live Bird, based on the life of jazz great Charlie "Bird" Parker, has been an integral part of jazz festivals around the country. Mrs. Doris Parker, Bird's widow, hailed Jeff's performance as "amazing" and "heartwarming," stating that "Jeff Robinson's portrayal of Charlie Parker was the man and jazz great that I knew...it was better than Forrest Whitaker in Clint Eastwood's film Bird!"

	Jeff also stretches his acting wings as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in the long running production of The Meeting, which presents a mythical meeting between civil rights leaders Martin Luther King and Malcolm X.
