Hollywood: A Dealmaker's Perspective Currently a partner at the prestigious entertainment law firm Cohen & Gardner, LLP based in Beverly Hills, Jeff B. Cohen is a graduate of the UCLA School of Law and former president of the student body at the University of California at Berkeley where he received a B.S. in Business Administration. Jeff isn't your average entertainment attorney. Jeff began his entertainment career as a child actor at age seven in a television pilot directed by Ron Howard entitled Little Shots. Jeff performed in a number of commercials, plays, voice-overs and 80’s sitcoms, some good, some bad and some ugly (Webster, Facts of Life, Family Ties, Amazing Stories, to name a few). Producer Steven Spielberg and Director Richard Donner chose Jeff for the role of Chunk in the cult classic 80’s family film The Goonies.

	A practiced player on both sides of the dealmaking table, he offers a unique perspective on the business of show. His firm’s diverse client list includes Academy Award-winning producers, award-winning film and television directors, prominent production companies, prolific feature and television writers, Broadway stars, television and feature actors, playwrights, comedians and professional athletes.
