Vanessa Hidary has performed on HBO Def Poetry Jam two times. As a poet she has performed around the country with performance highlights such as Central Park's SummerStage and The Lyricis's Lounge. Her one woman show Culture Bandit has been hailed in the New York Times and The New Yorker.
