On his latest CD, "48 hours," In-Q tackles everything from the hardships of love to the consequences of war with creativity and candor. He has competed nationally for team Hollywood 3 years running and is one of the original members of the world famous Poetry Lounge in Los Angeles.
In-Q has been a featured performer on HBO's Def Poetry Jam, NBC's Living Large, and ABC's Eye in LA. Most recently he won the Urban Graffiti competition filmed at Warner Brothers Studios, and the Sunkist/Power 106 competition on the Side Stage at P3. He has opened for everyone including Snoop Dog, Ludacris, Dialated Peoples, The Alcoholics, Freestyle Fellowship, Medusa, Saul Williams, Eminem and presidential candidate, Howard Dean.
In-Q's music transcends race, religion, culture and economic status. Instead he appeals to the human condition, which is something we should all be able to relate to... at least in theory.
